The big dogs at bootcamp:
We often have a lot of small dogs at Bootcamp Doga…but for some reason quite a few large dogs attended class on Monday. Totally cool…all sizes are welcome!
Bootcamp Doga can be beneficial for anyone wanting more of a workout. It’s also a nice way to introduce a not-so-social dog to the class by walking or running them with the other dogs before taking them into the studio for the doga.
On another note: Westside Yoga and Doga is about to kick off our Chi Challenge! This is going to be so fun…local businesses competing to raise money for charity by sending a representative to our Yoga and Doga classes for 2 months. Contestants will be judged on class attendance, blog posts, personal goals met and money raised for charity. We will donate additional funds to the winner’s charity of choice and give them an annual membership to Westside. Kicks off July 1!
We also are hosting an artist reception for Emily Rieman and benefit for Dog’s Deserve Better. This will be the 2nd Thursday in July for the West Seattle Artwalk..
Also…Barking Buddha Doga Teacher Training coming up at the end of July! We have a few spots available so email me if you are interested. It’s a good group this year, really looling forward to it!
Next Doga class is Saturday at 10:30 am. ( I don’t have photos from last Saturday’s class because I was in a hurry to watch the 2nd half of the U.S. vs England World Cup game, so I didn’t take photos after class, sorry!)
Have a terrific day!
