This week at Westside Yoga and Doga we are having a party!! Join us for a Dogs Deserve Better Benefit an d artists reception for Emily Rieman (these are her photos) this Thursday 6:00-9:00 pm. We will have live music by Mercury Four Lite (loungey punky, surf music), beer, wine, and snacks. And a raffle! See art, hear music, drink beer, do good for dogs.

We are also back on our regular schedule after the fourth of July holiday loonngg weekend, so I’ll see you in class on Saturday at 10:30.

Dogs About Town: Minnow

I come across so many great dogs here in very dog-friendly Seattle, so I’ve decided to start posting some photos of said dogs every week in a new blog section called “Dogs About Town”.

This weeks D.A.T. is Minnow. I love Minnow’s punk rock sneer, which goes well with her blue mohawk. Seattle is full of hipsters, human and canine. Minnow probably plays in a band but works for a tech company or a start up during the day or maybe she pulls espresso at a cool independent coffee shop and dates a tattoo artist, or maybe she is a tattoo artist. Who knows? We do know that she can really work that look!

So now I’m wondering if I should make up stories about my D.A.T.s or if I should just ask their humans to provide something interesting about their dog for me to write about. Maybe a combination would be good.

On a doga note: Class tonight at The Seattle Humane Society 7:00 pm.

This Weeks Doga Dish, Bootcamp Doga!

We are about to start a new schedule here at Westside Yoga and Doga. I’m excited to add my bootcamp doga class to the schedule beginning Mondays at 7:00 pm. Get in shape and in balance with your dog! Wear running shoes because we will begin this class with a short group run/walk .

Regular Barking Buddha Doga classes will continue to be held every Saturday at 10:30 am at Westside Yoga and Doga

Doga at The Seattle Humane Society May 26th at 7:00 pm.

Also Barking Buddha Doga Teacher Training is right around the corner, July 30-August 1. We have some truly amazing applicants signed up this year. If you are interested go to www.westsideyogadoga.com for info or shoot me an email.
