I wanted to let everyone know about some new, fun stuff coming up at Westside:
New class geared toward Senior dogs is tonight, Tuesday at 7:00 pm. This class will be the first Tuesday of every month with the possibility of a weekly class in the future.
Small dog play group! Every Thursday 7:00 pm – 8:15 pm.
Large Dog playgroup! 1st Sunday of every month 1:00-2:30 pm. (another class with weekly future possibilties)
Kid Doga Seminar! Saturday, Feb. 19! Teaching kids ahimsa (to do no harm) through their dogs, a little basic training and dog behaviour will be included.
Barking Buddha Doga Teacher Training 2011! It’s back! March 4-6.
We also have some tentative dog training seminars and classes coming up as well. I’ll let you know as soon as dates are confirmed.
And of course, Saturday Doga every Saturday at 10:30 am.

Happy Hour for the dogs, its a benefit for Dogs Deserve Better. Tuesday 12/21 Monsoon East, 10245 Main Street in Bellevue.
Doga at Westside Yoga and Doga 7:00pm Tuesday 12/21.

Hey Yogis and Dogis,
We are moving our studio at Westside in a slightly different direction. Intriguing right? Well after the first of the year we are going to the dogs….literally by offering more dog activities like play groups, training classes and more. Kelly, my business partner and I are very excited about this transistion to more Dogs, dogs and more dogs!
For the time being we will still offer people yoga classes, mostly taught by other teachers, and Kelly and I will focus on the dog stuff (doga, education,training, rescue,ect). I’ll keep you updated as we solidify our decisions.

Tomorrow December 9th from 6-8 at Westside Yoga and Doga we and our neighbors at City Dog Magazine are hosting an holiday party and benefit for Dogs Deserve Better.
This event is free and dog-friendly. We will offer doggy photos with Santa with all proceeds going to DDB. Beer, wine, food and live music with Whiting Tennis!
We have a limited number of goody bags so get there early!!

Honey's 13th birthday was on Thanksgiving! Jowls and wrinkles never looked so good!
Wow Yogis and Dogis! My sincerest apologies for not posting for almost a whole month. What has been going on you ask? Well my lovelies, come with me on a photographic journey through the last 3 weeks:

New Dogi Lucy. Small dog, big personality, cool hair-do.My Doga classes have been very busy lately, so I haven't been taking as many pictures...but we've had a lot of new students, so I'll be getting back in the picture groove to share the the cuteness.
O.K I did have more to share, but as usual word press is not cooperating. Damn, should’ve stayed with Ye Olde Blog Spot. Anyway…Please check back tomorrow and I’ll continue with a Doga Dish posting and tell you all about our upcoming holiday party with City Dog Magazine!!

Dog Beach Cafe in Lincoln City, Oregon

We need to find a 4 week foster home for Luna! An 8 year old cute little sausage staffy. If you can foster her, you can come to my doga classes for free while she is in your care. Please contact me if you are in the Seattle area and can help.

Yeah it really doesn’t get much cuter than two floppy-eared, jowly boxers doing doga. Except maybe the looks on the owner’s faces…that’s pretty adorable too.

Hey Yogis and Dogis I was so wrapped up in cuteness I almost forget to tell you about a Barking Buddha Doga class that two of my teacher trainee graduates are doing.
It’s in Enumclaw at Argus Ranch. www.argusranch.com It starts this Sunday!
AND! Dog-O-Ween this Saturday at Genesee Park. You can go to the 10:30 doga class and have plenty of time to get your dogi in that freaky dog costume!
Seems like Pug-O-Ween is also this weekend…let me get back to you on that one, kinda feeling too lazy to look it up right now. (bad 
).
